Esther Roylance Hansen Founder/Director of The Modern Debutante Programme. Esther graduated from Utah State University with a BA in History with an emphasis in Women Studies and done graduate work at Arizona State University,  She recently became a certified Independent Education Consultant  through UCLA.  Her love of studying people from the past evolved into a love of studying people of today from all different cultures; she has lived and travelled all over the world.   In 2008, she started a private event planning business.  She currently lives in Redmond, Washington with her husband and two children.

Kathleen D. Hall  A 30 year veteran of marketing, media and advertising Kathleen is currently running consumer marketing for the Windows division of Microsoft Corporation. Kathleen began her career on Madison Avenue with Young and Rubicam and worked on the advertising agency side of the business for 15 years, driving marketing strategy and execution for accounts such as General Foods, Keds, American Brands, Titleist, Reebok and TJX Corporation. Rising quickly through the ranks of the advertising industry earning a reputation for developing key consumer insights and marketing solutions that drive business results, Kathleen was named Partner/COO of Leonard/Monahan, one the most award-winning agencies in the US. Prior to joining Microsoft Corporation, Kathleen was Senior Vice President of Advertising and Brand at Fidelity Investments, the nation's largest retirement company. Kathleen has received numerous industry awards and accolades including: EMMA-Best Overall Entertainment Marketing Campaign 2006 Event Marketer’s “EX” Best Entertainment Sponsorship Award 2006 Mutual Fund Marketer of the Year 2006 Financial Portfolio Awards-Gold 2006 Financial Communications Society-Gold 2005 AdWeek Top Spots of 2004. Kathleen has also played an active role in community/public service as co-founder and President of the Music Lives Foundation, dedicated to funding music programs and instruments in public schools, coaching various sports and mentoring young women seeking marketing careers.

Jennifer C. Beardall -  grew up loving accounting and budgets.  In fact, she can tell you how she earned and spent every dollar until she hit college.  She graduated Magma Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's degree in accounting and a Master's Degree in Taxation.Jennifer began her career in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche, LLP with a practice focus of high wealth individuals, real estate partnerships, and small businesses.   She ran a medical practice for a private physician for 8 years and she currently owns and operates Jennifer Beardall CPA which specializes in financial planning for individuals and small businesses.  Jennifer has been married for 18 years, has three wonderful children, and  believes strongly that financial knowledge and independence leads to the empowerment of women.

Anne Holmdahl -  after completing her bachelor’s degree at Stanford University, Anne spent a year teaching English and continuing her studies of the Japanese language and culture in Hamamatsu, Japan.  Upon her return, she began a career in international marketing for a high-tech company.  After the birth of her children, she took on the role of full-time mom and jumped into volunteer activities.  In 1998, Anne joined the Stanford Admissions Office volunteer group and spent the next 12 years working with the admissions office coordinating volunteers in the Seattle area, meeting with potential students, and completing multiple trainings relating to the admissions process.  When her sons entered high school, the need for additional counseling assistance for college-bound students became obvious.  With caseloads of hundreds of students, high school counselors can only do so much.  After 4 years of helping her children, her children’s friends, and her friends’ children through the decision-making process, she started Common Sense College Counseling to reach out to others.  Anne is in the process of completing the UCLA College Counseling Certificate program to enhance her experience.  Her goal is to work with students and families to help students find their best fit and alleviate the stress involved in the process of getting to college.

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation - Seeing beyond one's self and one's own personal needs is a  defining aspect of maturity.  A personal tour of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will bring this awareness, or reinforce this understanding to the Debutantes.

Sahalee Country Club - The concluding Grand Debutante Ball will be held at the beautiful Sahalee Country Club.  The evening will include the Grand Debutante Procession,  the Chaperone dance, a full sit-down dinner, and an after=dinner dance party.  This is a magical night that will not be forgotten.
